'Why Has Biden Been Criminally Charged?' Following an indictment at a federal court in Delaware on Thursday, US President Joe Biden’s son Hunter has been criminally charged with three counts of lying while buying a firearm. All three counts relate to Mr Biden allegedly lying on documents while buying a gun during a period when he was a heavy drug user in 2018. Mr Biden, who is self-proclaimed and repentant user of crack cocaine, allegedly lied on forms when purchasing the Colt Cobra Special revolver, claiming he "not an unlawful user of and addicted to any stimulant narcotic drug” at the time. Under US federal law, it is a crime to possess a gun if you are using narcotics, and also to lie on forms when purchasing firearms.
