Nuclear-powered submarines could be made in the US

Australia's next generation of nuclear-powered submarines could be made in the United States and delivered by the middle of the next decade in a speedier solution to the nation’s sea defence controversy. Consultation is underway between Australia and senior officials in the US and Britain to potentially see a nuclear-powered fleet delivered a decade ahead of schedule.
