Police officer accused of tasering 95-year-old Clare Nowland 'finally suspended'

Sky News host Sharri Markson says there are “no circumstances” in which it's acceptable to taser an elderly woman, with the officer accused of tasering 95-year-old Clare Nowland being suspended today. “As I said last night, the officer should, at the very least, stand aside while investigations are underway,” Ms Markson said. “Police Commissioner Karen Webb had refused to take that action – today, nearly a week after Clare Nowland was tasered, the officer was finally suspended.’”
