A woman who said she and her son survived a mass shooting gave an emotional plea after three children and three adults were killed in a shooting at a private Christian school in Nashville on Monday. Beasley said she was in Tennessee with her son on a family vacation and that she had been lobbying for tougher gun legislation since the shooting on 4 July in Highland Park, Illinois.
