Fukushima's radiation leak poses no threat: Nigel Marks

Water containing radiation released by the Fukushima nuclear power plant poses no threat to people or marine life as it is only a small amount, according to Curtin University Associate Professor Nigel Marks. “Tritium is routinely released into the water; it’s been done for nearly 60 years,” Mr Marks told Sky News Australia. “The ocean release, it’s been very, very carefully considered. “There’s not a shred of evidence to show that there’s anything wrong with doing that.”
