South Australia Labor ‘removed the names’ of all public holidays

Sky News host Caleb Bond says in South Australia they have amended their public holiday legislation and “removed the names”. Mr Bond said that instead of it being called Australia Day, they have changed it to January 26th. “Now these names existed in law before, and the Labor government in South Australia has deliberately chosen to remove them. “When the Opposition then tried to run amendments to this, to put the names back in, the government voted it down. “So you’ve got to ask the question, what is the purpose of removing these names?”
