‘Welcomed news’: Rishi Sunak praise police and public after terror suspect arrested in London

UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has thanked police and the public for helping capture Daniel Khalife. Mr Sunak’s comments come as former soldier Daniel Khalife has been arrested in west London, after escaping from Wandsworth prison. “Well I’m very pleased with the news and my thanks to the police officers for their fantastic work over the last couple of days,” he said. “But, also to the public who came forward with an enormous amount of leads to help the police in the inquires. “It’s good news that we’ve recaptured the person concerned.”
