'Competition is fine, cheating is not': Twitter threatens to sue Meta over rival platform

Twitter has reportedly threatened to sue Meta over its newly launched Threads platform, which bears a striking resemblance to the Bird app. Twitter's lawyer, Alex Spiro, sent a letter to Meta's CEO Mark Zuckerberg, according to news website Semafor. The letter accused Meta of hiring former Twitter employees who "had and continue to have access to Twitter's trade secrets and other highly confidential information". Twitter's owner Elon Musk commented on the situation in a tweet, saying, "Competition is fine, cheating is not".
