'Huge concern': Whistleblower reveals Twitter vulnerable to Russian and Chinese influence

Twitter is extremely vulnerable to foreign exploitation by governments, such as Russia and China, as well as possibly having spies on its active payroll, a damning whistleblower report has revealed. The whistleblower at the centre of the revelation is the social media company’s former security chief Peiter "Mudge" Zatko. Mr Zatko, a network security expert, programmer and hacker, is central to a nearly-200-page public disclosure effort, according to reports by CNN and The Washington Post.
