After nearly ten months in Russian captivity, American WNBA star Brittney Griner has been freed in a prisoner swap in exchange for Russian arms dealer Viktor Bout. Many have criticized the Biden administration after the swap especially because Paul Whelan, who is another American currently imprisoned in Russia, on espionage charges, was left out of the prisoner swap.
