Committees in focus - Legislative Council Legal and Social Issues Committee

The Legislative Council’s Legal and Social Issues Committee has had an incredibly busy term of parliament. The Committee has already held eight inquiries and is wrapping up two more to be tabled in the next month. Meet Committee Chair Fiona Patten, Deputy Chair Tien Kieu and Committee Member Cathrine Burnett-Wake, and hear about their work inquiring into a range of legal and social issues facing Victorians, including homelessness, cannabis use, the criminal justice system, children of incarcerated parents and firearms prohibition legislation.
