Academics concerned over late Queen's private letters

Academics are concerned Queen Elizabeth II's letters might be suppressed or destroyed as palace courtiers are tasked with sorting through the material and not the impartial experts. Nova Radio’s Michelle Stephenson says members of the Royal Family should be looking through Queen Elizabeth’s private letters before academics sort the material. “There’s something about the secrecy of your own private letters and do you want that out in public?” Ms Stephenson told Sky News host Caroline Di Russo. “I don’t know what the protocol is either. “I would have an expectation that maybe the family would look through it first and not an academic.”
