Coalition left Australia with a ‘massive skills deficit’: Brendan O’Connor

Minister for Skills and Training Brendan O’Connor says Labor was bequeathed a “massive skills deficit” by the previous Coalition government. “The OECD cited that Australia's labour shortage per capita was the second highest amongst OECD countries when we came to government,” Mr O’Connor said during Question Time.
