Yemen's Houthi rebels have seized what they say is an Israeli cargo ship in the Red Sea. Israeli's government described the incident as an Iranian act of terrorism and said it will have consequences for international maritime security. They went on to say the Houthis had taken control of a British-owned and Japanese-operated vessel. It has been reported that there were no Israelis on board.
