‘Tight-lipped’: Speculation surrounds Albanese’s US state dinner

Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell says the US state dinner being held for Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is a “big deal”. “A lot of speculation about some pretty big Australian names could be at that dinner,” he said. “They are being very, very tight-lipped about it. “Australian officials, they really feel it is the White House's information to release – don’t want to say people’s on the list until they actually turn up." Mr Clennell claims a Canberra source has told him that the 2023 Australian of the Year Taryn Brumfitt is one potential dinner guest.
