Jim Chalmers praises 'terrific guy' Philip Lowe as outgoing RBA Governor

Treasurer Jim Chalmers says he and Prime Minister Anthony Albanese would like to thank outgoing RBA Governor Philip Lowe for his dedication, commitment and service to both the economy and to Australia. “Phil Lowe goes with our respect, he goes with our gratitude and he goes with our dignity,” Mr Chalmers told media during a press conference on Friday. “I have really valued my working relationship with Phil – he is, on a personal level, a terrific guy.”
