Trump demands case be dismissed as he leaves 'fraudster' court

Donald Trump has demanded the $250m civil fraud case against him be dismissed as he left court after a remarkable day of testimony. Mr Trump became the first former president in more than 100 years to testify in court as a defendant. Despite the court having already ruled that he committed fraud, Mr Trump said the case should be “dismissed immediately”, adding: “The court was the fraudster in this case.” The former president earlier claimed the array of legal cases he is facing, both criminal and civil, were part of a campaign by “Trump haters” to undermine him. Mr Trump denies all wrongdoing in the case.
