Poland Seals Deal For LTAMDS, US Army’s New Air Defence Radar 360-Degree Capable | WISLA Phase 2

Poland has become the first international buyer of the US Army's next-generation air and missile defence radar system, known as LTAMDS (Lower Tier Air and Missile Defense Sensors). The Polish Defense Minister has approved a purchase of 12 LTAMDS and 48 Patriot launchers. LTAMDS is an advanced radar system equipped with Raytheon's Gallium Nitride technology, offering 360-degree coverage and improved performance against various threats, including aircraft, cruise missiles, ballistic missiles and hypersonics. Poland plans to integrate these radars into its air and missile defence architecture as part of the WISLA Phase 2 program.
