Former US president Donald Trump has been handed a $US10,000 fine for breaching a gag order in a business-fraud lawsuit. Sky News host Paul Murray discussed the former president’s court trials including his latest fine and the possibility of Mr Trump being jailed. “Former president Donald Trump back in court, he has been sitting in the front row as his former lawyer Michael Cohen has been giving evidence against him,” Mr Murray said. “Michael Cohen who of course has gone to jail and has previously admitted to being a liar, he took the stand and Donald Trump said that should end the case. “But remember he’s been told not to say things like that so he has been handed a $10,000 fine, it’s the second time the judge has found him on the wrong side of the gag order, and then eventually jail becomes the only option. “Meantime again the Attorney-General in New York who ran on a ‘get Trump’ ticket before there was even a case to be made, she says it doesn’t matter that they’re relying on Michael Cohen, the case is clear.”
