Russia targeted 135 settlements across Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kherson oblasts, according to Ukraine. Kyiv claimed Russia attacked the settlements with small arms, mortars, repurposed S-300 air defense systems and drones. Wagner fighters have captured two more areas of Bakhmut town, according to the Russian Defence Ministry. Meanwhile, PM Denys Shmyhal said that finance ministers from the G7 countries have pledged more than $5 billion in additional aid to Ukraine.
