Retiring Therapy Dog of 7 Years Gets a 'Rock Star Farewell' ❤️

An older dog got a ‘rock star farewell’ after retiring in its role as a therapy animal for a local hospital in Queensland, Australia, this week. ’Much loved therapy dog and all round ‘Good Boy’ Norman received a rock star farewell today, after providing patients with comfort and support for seven years, five of those at Sunshine Coast University Hospital,’ the facility wrote on its Facebook page. ‘Staff and patients lined Hospital Street to clap out Norman, who is retiring from therapy visits, after being diagnosed with canine cancer.
