Liz Cheney calls McCarthy ‘pathetic’ for saying he’d serve in Trump administration

Former Wyoming Republican Rep. Liz Cheney called Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) "sad" and "pathetic" for his willingness to serve in a second Trump administration. McCarthy told CBS News Sunday Morning, "In the right position, look, if I'm the best person for the job, yes," when asked if he would consider serving in former President Donald Trump's Cabinet should he win the 2024 election.
