In Norway, 79% of new cars sold in 2022 were electric

Today, there are more than 600,000 electric vehicles (EVs) on Norway’s roads. In 2017, the country pledged to end the sale of petrol and diesel cars by 2025. The government exempted new EVs from purchase tax and sales tax. While EV owners didn’t have to pay road tax and only had to pay 50% of road tolls and ferry tickets. #technology #electriccar #norway #tax #infrastructure #emissions
