The Fatal Feud Between Jimmy Hoffa and Robert Kennedy

As a relative novice to politics and the labor landscape in the United States, Robert F. Kennedy worked as a lawyer for several Senate committees before being appointed chief counsel of the US Senate Select Committee on Improper Activities in Labor and Management in 1957. More commonly referred to as the McClellan Committee, it was where Robert Kennedy and Jimmy Hoffa had some of their most vitriolic exchanges. Both Hoffa and Kennedy knew how to get under each other's skin, and their public interactions could be full of tension or riddled with petty jabs at one another.
