Charlie Adelson Hired Hitmen to Kill Ex-Brother-In-Law During Heated Custody Battle: Prosecutor

In the opening statements of the hitman conspiracy trial, the prosecutor said Florida dentist Charlie Adelson allegedly hired three hitmen to murder FSU law professor and his ex-brother-in-law, Dan Markel. The state claims this was a "highly emotionally charged situation," referring to the relationship between Adelson and Markel, as there was an ongoing custody battle between the two families.
