The camera team visits Barranquilla, Santa Marta, Cartagena, Medellin, Cali, and Bogota. In each of these cities and on the journey in between, the film contrasts modern buildings with Spanish colonial architecture, and sprawling cities with a picturesque countryside. The film starts and ends with the Tequendama Falls, which are what started the narrator’s obsession for Colombia. 0:06 Passed by the Committee on Motion Pictures of the American College of Surgeons, 0:12 B.F.
