Moment emergency alert test goes off at London Marathon

London Marathon runners and spectators were caught out when they heard the government's emergency alert test. Runners can be seen scrambling for their phones to look and turn off the alert as they finished the race. The alert test was supposed to be sent to every phone in the country at 3pm on Saturday 23 April. Its purpose was to notify the country if there is an emergency.
