Three new skeletons have been found at the Pompeii archaeological site. The skeletons, which are thought to be two adult women and a young child, were found by a team excavating the site. The Vesuvius volcano near modern-day Naples in Italy, erupted in 79 AD and devastated the nearby city of Pompeii. Pompeii is one of the best-preserved archaeological sites from the Roman era thanks to the volcanic ash which maintained many of the original structures.
