Defence calls for recruitment reforms

The Department of Defence is calling for recruitment changes to help attract and retain skilled personnel. An incoming government brief to Defence Minister Richard Marles said “defence is not a competitive employer", according to a report from The Australian. The Department is calling for a salary boost for non-uniformed personnel and a comprehensive review of Australian Defence Force recruitment and retention.
