Rare protests in China's Northern Hebei province after floods destroy property and kill 14 people

Online videos show people in several cities of Northern Hebei province gathered to demand compensation after thousands of villagers lost their homes due to an unexpected flood discharge. In one video, protesters in Bazhou County can be seen assembled in front of a government building and shouting “Give back my home”. In another video, protestors in Yongding country gathered to demand compensation and better settlements. A protester can be seen being pressed on the ground by a dozen SWAP police.
