Road rage driver draws gun before police intervene in Virginia

TWO men were detained following a road rage incident involving a gun in Virginia Beach, Virginia, on September 30. Video filmed by Nick W shows a motorcyclist and an SUV driver arguing at a busy intersection. The SUV driver then exits his vehicle to point a gun at the motorcyclist. Police on the scene intervene and handcuff the SUV driver. In a statement to Storyful, the Virginia Beach Police Department confirmed both individuals were detained and then released. No charges were filed. Virginia ranked fourth in a nation-wide Forbes Advisor survey to determine which states had the most confrontational drivers. One quarter of drivers in Virginia reported they experience road rage “very frequently”.
