DJ Dave Fanning says Sinéad O'Connor was often “fearless” and “fragile” at the same time as he reflects on the late Irish singer’s legacy. “She was very self-deprecating, she was uncompromising, she was a sharp observer of so many different things but also she was incredibly kind,” he said. “She never wanted the fame she got from that second album … and she immediately threw it all away.”
