He said: “We stand with Israel, make no mistake. The loss of innocent life is heartbreaking and Hamas offers nothing but terror and bloodshed.” The President said Israel has a right to defend itself against the “vicious attacks” and said the US would make sure it has what it needs to take care of its citizens.
