Lukashenko "Told Putin To Spare Prigozhin", Russia Hits Pizza Restaurant In Kramatorsk | Ukraine War

At least 8 people were killed after two Russian rockets hit a bustling pizza restaurant in the centre of Kramatorsk, local authorities said. The missile strike occurred in mid-evening at a popular shopping plaza, raising the likelihood of a high number of civilian casualties. Regional authorities said that 42 people were injured due to the Russian strikes. One of the restaurant’s cooks, Ruslan, said there were “quite a lot of people” at the moment of the strike. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Russia deserved "defeat and a tribunal" after Kramatorsk came under attack. Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said that he told Vladimir Putin to not kill Wagner leader Yevgeny Prigozhin. The Belarusian leader also denied media reports that Minsk was constructing bases for Wagner soldiers. Ukraine said its forces advanced up to 1,400 metres in various sectors of the front over the past day, despite Russian counterattacks. NATO Chief Jens Stoltenberg has said the alliance is ready to defend itself against any threat from “Moscow or Minsk”.
