Students Make Human Chain In Shape Of India’s Map, Video Goes Viral

Students from Shri Swaminarayan Gurukul Vidyalaya in Surat made a human chain in the shape of India's map on August 08. They highlighted the slogan 'Meri Maati, Mera Desh'. “Under ‘Meri Maati, Mera Desh’ initiative by PM Modi, 900 students of Shri Swaminarayan Gurukul Vidyalaya have made a human chain in the shape of India’s map. This has been done to honour the brave hearts who sacrificed their lives for the nation.,” said Dharmesh, a teacher at Shri Swaminarayan Gurukul Vidyalaya. To honour the brave hearts who sacrificed their lives for the country, the Central Govt has organised 'Meri Maati Mera Desh' program across the country from August 9 to 30. The closing ceremony will be held at Kartavya Path in Delhi on August 30.
