WATCH: NYPD Officers Rescue Woman Trapped Under Brooklyn Pier

Officers with the New York City Police Department (NYPD) rescued a woman who had gotten trapped under a pier in Brooklyn on the morning of Tuesday, October 3, the NYPD said. Footage released by the police shows one of the officers holding on to the woman’s hand from the edge of the pier in the Red Hook neighborhood. Officers helped get the woman, age 20, onto a boat to complete the rescue, the footage shows. The woman was hospitalized in stable condition, according to a Deputy Commissioner, Public Information spokesperson.
