Russia claimed its air defences shot down nine Ukrainian missiles fired at Belgorod on the night of September 29 and 30. Bryansk governor Alexander Bogomaz said a Ukrainian attack disrupted the power supply in the village of Pogar on September 30. A Sputnik report claimed thousands of Ukrainian soldiers had surrendered to Russia via its radio hotline. Romania said its airspace may have been violated during overnight drone attacks by Russia on September 29. Putin claimed that residents of Russia-held regions in Ukraine expressed their desire to be part of Russia in recent local elections.
