Israel-Gaza violence could emerge as an ‘early test’ for Joe Biden

Unless order is restored in relation to the Israel-Gaza violence being seen at the moment, it will soon emerge as an “early test” for US President Joe Biden’s diplomatic skills, according to Sky News host Chris Kenny. “Once again we are seeing strife in the Middle East between Palestinian terrorists and Israel,” he said. “So far the White House has been little more than an interested spectator, calling for calm.” Mr Kenny spoke with former Australian Ambassador to Israel Dave Sharma about the issue. “I think the more plausible hypothesis if you like, is that Hamas is taking this opportunity to test Israel at a delicate time,” Mr Sharma said. “To see what sort of chaos they can sow.”
