Brave Ukraine soldiers save their wounded comrade in harrowing rescue

Russia shelled Ukrainian troops trying to save a wounded comrade. The life-and-death struggle took place in Bakhmut back in April. A soldier with a thigh wound had to be carried off the battlefield. His comrades tried to stretcher him away but were hit by artillery. They had to leave the man in the road as they took cover. During a break in the shell-fire they resumed their rescue mission. It is not clear whether the man survived his injuries. The video was taken around a month before Bakhmut fell.
