Hero Ukrainian troops on a quadbike rescue wounded comrade avoiding Russian artillery

Hero Ukrainian soldiers rescued a badly wounded comrade from battle. Dramatic footage shows how they risked their lives to save the man. Who has suffered from a severe leg wound and appears to be unconscious. First he is loaded on to a stretcher, which is placed on the back of a quadbike. The Ukrainians must be quick, in case they are spotted by Russian artillery. The quadbike then races back to a nearby trench, where they can take shelter. A Ukrainian armoured vehicle then races up to take the man to hospital. It is not clear where the footage was taken, but it appears to be on the southern front. Ukrainian troops are advancing through heavy Russian defences. They have now broken the Russian first line, but casualties have been heavy.
