Four years ago, the wreckage from the last known slave ship bringing slaves from Africa to America was found burned on the bank of the Mobile River in Mobile Alabama. It is called the Clotilda. Since then, a Netflix documentary has been made about the ship and its descendants. This weekend a new museum—The Heritage Museum will open in Africatown.
