House Republicans are eyeing ways to hold Attorney General Merrick Garland accountable over allegations that the Justice Department blocked the Hunter Biden investigation. One of the main accusations from an IRS whistleblower is that US Attorney David Weiss was stopped from bringing charges against the president’s son. Appointed by Donald Trump, Weiss is technically in charge of the investigation, as the US attorney in Delaware. Garland denied any interference with Weiss after the whistleblowers came forward.
