For the first time in its 66-year history a journalist penetrated security to go undercover at the hotel where the secretive Bilberberg conference was held in Turin, Italy. It is attended by figureheads of politics, business, banking, academia, royalty, telecoms, technology. This cabal of the global, largely liberal, elite - with strong ties to the EU - meets every year amid a cloak of secrecy.
