"Succession" received 27 nods, including best drama, where the network's "The Last of Us" trailed closely behind with 24, followed by "The White Lotus" (23) and Apple TV+'s "Ted Lasso" was the most-nominated comedy (again) with 21. This year's Emmys are scheduled to air Sept. 18 on Fox, but may be delayed by the ongoing writers strike and a potential actors' strike. A host for the ceremony has yet to be announced.
