Harmonic Atheist - Interview with Kevin Maxwell

Today I spoke with Kevin Maxwell, who discussed his long journey out of Christianity. We talked about his time growing up in a Pentecostal church and briefly investigating a Korean doomsday cult, before ultimately realizing that Christianity is mythology. Kevin shared how becoming educated about the psychological dynamics of mind control and fabricated authority helped him understand the power of religion, and why it's so hard for many to escape Christianity, especially when it starts in the context of childhood indoctrination. We finished by talking about the topic of astrotheology that both Kevin and I are very interested in, as we uncover how the Bible is full of stories that are based on an understanding of the sun, moon, constellations, solstices, and equinoxes.
