Israeli strikes 'Hamas terror stronghold' near Gaza hospital

Israel's military on Tuesday (November 7) released video of what it said were strikes on Hamas targets near a hospital in northern Gaza. The army said it was targeting a Hamas base in a building adjacent to the al-Quds Hospital where an attack was being planned. The strike led to secondary explosions which the army said indicated the presence of a Hamas weapons cache in a civilian area. The army also said it had taken a Hamas terror stronghold in the north of the enclave, saying anti-tank missiles and launchers, weapons and various intelligence materials were seized. Military video showed tanks and bulldozers in action with buildings being blown up and still photographs showed Israeli soldiers occupying buildings and advancing in the area. Reuters was not able to independently verify the location or the date when the videos were recorded or the stills taken.
