Man charged after slamming into security barriers outside the White House

A man who drove a truck into security barriers outside the White House in Washington DC has been charged. The 20-foot U-Haul truck slammed into the barricades protecting the executive mansion. Initial investigations suggest the crash might have been intentional. Authorities have arrested 19-year-old Sai Varshith Kandula from Missouri and is now facing serious charges, including threatening to kill or inflict harm on a president, vice president, or family member. The frightening scene caused all kinds of chaos and confusion and forced authorities to close surrounding streets and evacuate several nearby hotels.
