‘Politically homeless’: Female politicians feel ‘abandoned’ by the left

Liberal Senator Claire Chandler says female politicians feel “abandoned” by the left, making them feel “bigoted” for speaking out about controversial trans issues. “Ever since I’ve started talking about these issues publicly early on in my career as a Senator, I have been approached by women across the political spectrum who feel politically homeless,” Ms Chandler told Sky News Australia host Peta Credlin. “Because they might be of the left and they feel that those political parties have completely abandoned them on these issues and made them feel bigoted just for speaking out.”
