‘Put a sock in it’: Former Labor senator on No campaign's 'incendiary' arguments

Former Labor Senator Stephen Conroy says he hopes some of the "incendiary" ‘No’ campaign senators “put a sock in it” for the debate surrounding Australia’s Voice to parliament referendum. “Just allow a civilised debate,” he told Sky News Australia. “There are plenty of good arguments for and those that want to make the 'No' argument case, they can make them and that can be done in a very civil way – it’s an important moment in Australia’s history.”
