A 'fair and appropriate' settlement reached for family of deceased Rust cinematographer

A judge in the US has approved financial settlement for the family of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins who was shot with a prop gun held by actor Alec Baldwin on the set of the film Rust in 2021. While the figure remains undisclosed, the order describes it as "fair and appropriate". The agreement will see Ms Hutchins' son Andros receive periodic payments when he reaches the age of 18.
